Segerine serves as a Partner at Matare Consulting Associates. He is a Fellow Certified Public Account (FCPA) registered by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania (NBAA) and a registered tax consultant with Tanzania Revenue Authority. A former Deputy Commissioner of the Tanzania Revenue Authority, Segerine is a career tax administrator and an expert in local and international taxation – both direct and indirect taxes. He also has over 18 years in tax and business management consulting experience.

He received his undergraduate and post-graduate education in tax management at the Institute of Finance Management, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He has also undergone post-graduate training programs in management and administration of direct and indirect taxes at the Institute of Tax Administration – Los Angeles, USA; Irish Management Institute – Dublin, Ireland; Crown Agents International Management Centre – UK.
