Baltazar serves as the Managing Partner of Matare Consulting Associates. He has over fifteen (15) years’ experience of external audit, taxation, financial accounting and banking services.

He has previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC-Tanzania) where he accumulated wealth of audit and business advisory experience through delivering services to clients in various sectors of the Tanzanian economy including Mining, Banking, Energy, Transport & Communications, Hospitality and Public Sector.

He has also worked with Bank of Africa Group where he last served as the Head of Finance. He accumulated extensive experience in financial management & control, financial reporting, corporate strategic planning, leadership and general management.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a first class Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Dar es Salaam; and a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK).

Baltazari is also a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice (CPA – PP) and a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania – (NBAA).
